Comptech recently went out of business but their exhaust sound is hard to beat. Nice tone when you get on it but reasonably quiet when you don't. And no highway drone.
Very nice polished stainless.
Mine showed a fair increase in WHP also. I have an '06 which is the same thing as your '07.

There should still be a few out there.

Im curious, why you want aftermarket dual exhaust...Single with no bends is better for flow, which in return helps with performance...Check out Apex'i or Tanabe.
Cheers.

Dual exhausts also tend to be a bit quieter.

There are quite singles too. I have a magnaflow that has a awesome tone. It is pretty quiet but it drones like crazyyyyyyyyyy at 3500. I get the feeling youre in it for the look of a dual and a little tone though. For that I agree with you the hks is a very nice exhaust its prolly my favorite dual.

You could always be different and put a side exit right behind the front tire with no muffler no cat no nothing hahaha.

From what I hear, The HKS is not very loud, has a good sound, at higher rpms in the motor, the motor will be heard over the exhaust. The way i personally see, it You're spending $600 or more on a visual item.

I too was looking into the HKS Hi-Power exhaust. I was about to purchase it for my 03 and came across this thread. There is an S2000 sound clip with the HKS Hi-Power installed over at hksusa.com if you haven't heard it yet. The cheapest I am finding it though is $740 after shipping. Have you found it any cheaper?

The New Guy

Hey, I'm in the same boat.

I'm an old guy and don't want "Coffee Can" roar. I'm looking for something that has a performance sound.

Anyway, I've looked around myself and can't find much for an '07.
