So many opions

Should I use the MTF or GM Syncromesh or Redline or........ I am getting the 607 Almasol for the diff. and I am switching to Mobil 1 so now I need to know what tranny fluid I should get. I heard that the new MTF is only smooth for the first 2000 or so miles. I just need a heads up. Thanks again guys

I use the same in the diff and engine as you are and also use the new Honda MTF with no problems so far. Changed it 9,000 miles ago.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Thanks again Go you seem be on top of every topic. Appreciate your once again. I also ordered the fill and drain plug washers for the tranny and diff. Do I have to replace them everytime I change the fluids? And how much diff. fluid do I need as well as tranny fluid. Thanks!

It is a good idea to replace the crush washers every time you change your fluids. Its cheap insurance that the plugs don't drip. You should only need 2 quarts for the trans and 1 quart for the diff. BTW - I use MTF for my trans, I change it about every 15K. It seems to do just fine.

Do you guys know of anyone on this forum that sells the " New MTF " as opposed to going to the dealer and getting the old stuff?
