Tuning help!?

I have a custom exhaust and cold air intake. I want to have the engine tuned but im very nieve. I've done a lot of research but nothing explains what I need to well. First off am I able to get my stock ECU tuned or do I need to buy an aftermarket one that can be programmed? If so than what are some good brands that people have had good experience with? Other than that is there any piggy back systems or chips that will work well also? What I am REALLY looking for however is a place to do professional tuning....perhaps on a dyno...and located in PA. Any help in the area will be appreciated. THANKS

Where in pa are you located? I am right outside of philly. There are a few good dynos and tuners around here.

With the stock ECU, I do not believe it can be modified. You can use a VAFC I or II to get a little tuning out of it. When I was NA, I used a VAFC I and the tuner I took it to got 8 WHP and 6 lbs. of tq. out of it. If you go to a stand alone like an AEM EMS unit, it can be tuned, but I do not have any experience with those so I can not tell you what gains you may or may not get with that. Huge gains are few and far between with our car unless you go with boost.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Yes, the '06 (and maybe the '07) can be reflashed by Hondata, but the previous models can not.

no ur missunderstanding me.. I want the engine to be running at it's peak with exhaust and intake. By tunning the engine you recover lost hp, you get the maximum hp outta the intake and exhaust, and the engine runs much more efficently ( better reliability). I deffinatly want to tune it...I just want to know what I have to do and where is some good places to go. My point with my earlier statement is that I don't want to turbo it or supercharge it for a while.
