Hey guys I am back w/ more questions! I was at the track tonight and was talking to a guy w/ an 02 S just like mine. I saw him run a 12.89 which I thought was pretty good considering what I have heard about getting N/A power. So I went over to see what he had and it was a single exit greddy w/ a AEM cai oh and a 75 shot! He said stock his car dynoed at 196 and w/ the exhaust and intake it went to 208 without nos. I thought you couldn't get noticable power from I/E. Sorry its so long!

You can get some increases. Many people don't consider 12 WHP a significant increase inrealtion to cost of those mods. I bought a used VAFC1 and new harness when I was NA and got 8 WHP, but it cost me $300. If that is cost effective for you, then it was worth it. Then again, some people don't think $5,000 for 110 WHP is cost effective and some do so they buy a SC. Others want larger numbers so they spend more and get a turbo. Some people think $700 for 6 WHP is good so they buy a header. It all comes down to how much money you want to spend for the amount of gain you are going to get.

So what is your guess on HP if I got a good H/I/E. I won't hold you to anything but if I am going to get say 20whp+ I think that is good. And also heard that the VTEC controller doesn't work unless you get something like the HONDATA ECU. If you have any particular brands that you prefer that would help alot. Thanks

Good luck finding a combination of a I/H/E that will get you 20WHP. I doubt there is one. Some headers make HP at different places in the curve. There are some quality pieces out there that will get you some gains, but 20 is asking a lot.

As for the VAFC not working, the 8 WHP and 6 lbs. tq. after 1 hour of tuning on the dyno told me it did work .
