engine light up..

my car only 1.5k so far.. only exhaust and some audio set ups so far..
but i am trying to modifry charger for my Navigation system.
so i crack the tiny relays from the fuse box under the steering wheel.
while when i was trying to pull them out from the fuse box.. i made some cracks on the each side where i can see those connecter inside the relay .but they still work well..
but tonight when i am trying to drive out for a nice run.. i saw the engine light upp'ed..
then i came back to home right way and come here directly , sice i don't have any of car experience so far..
someone please tell will the fuse box cause the engine light up??
or maybe my car needs to bring it back to dealer with my OEM exhaust back???

I am not sure what you are trying to ask. I think you said you are trying to get power to your navigation system and in the process broke a plug. The fuse box now has some cracks and you are concerned that this will cause the check engine light to come on. Does that about translate your question?

You don't need to put your stock exhaust back on the car to get warranty service. Replacing the exhaust (or adding a CAI) does not void the warrant.

Like gomarlins3 suggested, you can take the car to AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts and they will plug a sensor into your OBD2 port and tell you what codes are being thrown to activate the CEL.

That is sort of a misnomer. I have seen dealers void warranties for a CAI leading to a car's engine hydrolocking. While this is not the case in the OP's situation, it can happen.

Not all S2000s have OBD-II sensor - it depends on what country you are in.

There has been a post somewhere about how to pull the codes yourself by shorting two pins together and reading how many times the CEL flashes.
I can't remember what forum I saw this on.

Oh and I seem to recall in some cars the OBD plug is on the drivers side, but in others it is in the passenger side.

oh man i don't have the tools to replace my OEM exhaust then,
i will have a try if they asking for money i will say lots of bullshits of calling American Honda shits lolzzz

All you need to put on the stock exhaust is a socket wrench and a set of sockets. Perhaps even some gasket glue.

However, in your case, they need to prove that the exhaust caused the problem in order to void the warranty. And generally speaking, if the Check Engine light comes on and stays on (as in, not blinking constantly), it's usually not something serious. Could be as simple as an O2 sensor.

everything's going back good agian,
it just the CAI sensor kinda loose and the light come's up,
by the way the people inside the honda dealer in New York are mad nice..
