Hi Guys, i have a stock 2001 S2k, i want to know if you de-cat the exhaust or change the exhaust system, will it make any difference? If it does, what size pipe should be fitted on?

You get two advantages when you change the exhaust system...you lose a fair amount of weight and you get a bit more performance. You get two advantages when you remove the catalytic converter...you fail emissions tests and are unable to drive the car on the street without replacing it and two, you change the characteristics of the exhaust system which is maximized for performance with the cat.
I have a CompTech catback and it's considerably lighter than the stock exhaust system.
