Skunk2 Throttle Body

I don't know much about engines but would buying a Skunk2 throttle body help anything as far as HP goes. I know it would be very minimal, like 5hp or so but does it help the engine breath better or what? Sorry for the dumb question lol

of course, your porting out the intake where the air comes in, there for more air the more fuel you can dump in, yea it wont be a huge change mybe 5-8 hp but if you put that on with the combination of things at tthe same time then it will be even more effective. dude its not a dumb question, if you have one then thats what this website is for bro and if you have more then just ask, i can help you make it a monster.

No questions are dumb. I have an unknown 66 mm throttle body. I notice slightly better throttle response. It will cause a cell with the stock ecu, probably spiking the O2 sensor but with the Mugen ecu no issues

Because the volumetric efficiency has changed.

So my supercharger should throw all kinds of codes along with cold air intakes and anything that affects air flow like driving faster or slower. The o2 will not be affected because the map sensor takes into account how many bar is going into the intake manifold and works out a fuel map so the o2 should see a proper fuel mixture.

Are you running a stock ecu with a supercharger?

stock ecu. Vortec comes with a ignition control box and a map clamp that wires into the stock ecu.

Skunk 2 TB rock. I put a 68mm on a civic picked up 7 at the wheels. He had Hondata so it worked out good. Let me know if you are still looking at them I can get you a good price on anything Skunk makes.
