Checking Oil
Hi Guys, new to the forum here.
I just bought a 2003 S2000, got it home and can't find the dipstick. How do you check the oil on these machines? I can't even find the dipstick hole. Is there a sightglass on these cars? Never owned one before so the learning experience has begun. Thanks Charlie, Ocala Fl. |

The dip stick is on the top of the valve cover. It is black and the valve cover is red (mine is silver). The pull tap is shaped like a rectangle.
This isn't a very good picture, but it is the small black rectangle above the word "by": ![]() Here is another pic that is more stock. It is the rectangle to the right of the "c" in VTEC: ![]() Last edited by gomarlins3 : 09-03-2007 at 09:54 PM. |
