HKS HIPower Exhaust (bad?)
I remember reading somewhere somebody was saying that the HKS exhaust for the S2000 doesn't make much of a difference from stock and in some cases you actually lose HP. Is this true?

If you're looking for gains then go single (earplugs recommended).
Duals are more for looks and sound I believe... The HKS does sound nice though.

I have HKS highpower system, and quite frankly it is pretty nice peice of add on.
Nevertheless; I don't see why any one would say upgrade to a better breathing exhaust would hinder the HP of a vehicle comparable to the stock system. But in order to feel any improvement beside the added noise level; header + high flow cat. + exhaust + intake = some kind of noticeable increase. Exhaust alone won't do much |

Thanks guys, I traded my t1r for the hks. I just wanted to hear my music. It wasn't a big deal cause my "S" came with the t1r. I use my car downtown a lot so you can imagine the sound wave I left behind with the t1r. hahaha
Dyno for the t1r at DBperformance was 208whp for the t1r & CAI. |

Congratulation. You are going to like your HKS.. It has 1 resonator in the front and 1 baffle balancer in the back.. so you are going to hear some music alright!
