stahling out

so i got in my car yesterday nd put it in neutral pressed the clutch started er' up took my foot off the clutch it idled for a about a 15-20 sec. then stahled out i though kinda sux maybe its coincedence u know. so any way when i get to a light i want to move up so i rev her up ease off the clutch then press it back in to keep from stahlin and it idle at about 1k and drops and sounds like its gonna stahl again it did this a couple of times. then today it stahled out on me again twice while it was in neurtral... its been cold as balls like in the teens but other than that can u guys let me know what u think it could be?

Rev, doya allow Stewie to sit for periods'a time with the fuel level less than half'a tank? 'Sounds like you might'a accumulated some condensate/moisture n' the cold weather'll play havoc with that.

Hey Rev,

does your temp gauge appear to read correctly?
might be wantin' to go to warm idle way too soon if the coolant temp sending unit on the engine is giving the E.C.M. a false warm reading when the engine isn't really warmed up yet.....If it seems to be warming up way too fast for the ambient temp. conditions, it could be your culprit...and it wouldn't be an unusual problem for any car.
Or it could be a dozen other things I can think of also......
