$25 each x 4 = $100. They claim $8 per hp, so that $100 should yield 12.5 hp right? I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I seriously doubt it.

I have been running Denso Iridium ik 22's for nearly 100k miles. I don't think there is a magic spark plug on the horizon

There was an article about this in last months D-Sport Magazine. If I recall, they gave them a rave review and Dyno tested 4 cars, all which showed about 6-10 HP increases... Can't remember the exact numbers tho, I will read the article again when I get home.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Make sure you buy a brand new set of what plugs you got in now, dyno them new and then put the pluse plugs in and dyno it with them. You probably already know that. Anyways thats how they can claim the increase in hp. Just like every other part that comes with a dyno Most of the time. If you improve everything exept one thing and dyno it, then replace the weak link then dyno it again yeap its goin to show a increase. Example. Your tryin to market cams. So you get a car dyno stock then slap just cams in it and dyno. Not to much gain, if you do intake, exhaust dyno it. Then put the cams in it, its goin to show a much larger gain. This is like i said how they market stuff to show such gains. It not fake numbers its just misdirection of how they got them.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but... I think that a spark plug's job is to light the fuel/air mixture and the burn takes it from there. If the heat range and gap are right and the plugs don't oil foul there should be no difference. I use platinum plugs. They keep the gap longer because the center electrode doesn't wear away as quickly. The s2k has a very advanced ignition system. I've never experienced a miss, unless going over the 9k rev limiter. I think this is another slik 50, turbo air intake, or the gadget they use to sell at swap meets that attached to the coil to boost the spark.

There goes Phil again sayin' whut I'm thinkin'.
How a plug can cause the same amount'a air/gas mixture to make more power seems jus' a wee bi' far fetched ta this ol' (with all due respect Phil) tire-kicker.
('Lessen each plug comes with it's own little set a injectors maybe)
But, by all means . . . like Go, I'm lookin' forward to your review. (Quick! Somebody get me a calculator! I think he jus' broke his record for words in a post!)
Be well,
Java

There has been a delay in checking the power on the plugs. Will get it posted when I can.

Sounds like the same as a MSD (multiple spark discharge) system. More spark will get you a more efficient fuller burn. Thats assuming it doesn't get too hot and start popping a hole in your piston.

IF you improve everything, and yet didn't replace the weak link, wouldn't the weak link get worse? I mean, you should try to remove the weak link right? And, when replacing the everything, that means you replace the basics like the spark plugs as well. You think it is wise to use pulse plugs?

if these plugs will increase hp, then you should see an increase in mpg as well...you would think....

Electricity takes the path of least resistance. If the bottom electrodes are all equal gap, they will fire randomly. When one electrode loses a bit of metal, the spark will skip that on but still fire on the others.
