Yes. The input flange or the drive shaft must be changed.

Dawg, jus' a thought, but if you blew it up once, rather than slippin' another (possibly next victim) in place, might not now be the time ta check out goin' with somethin' a little beefier?

I have one in my 2002 with the flange changed out.
