Looks like a LS1, it has the cable operated throttle body. The Vette LS1, all LS2's and up used drive by wire. Also it had black engine covers, the LS7 has red covers I beleive plus it would have large letters saying Corvette on them and couldnt see anything on that video. LS7 also uses dry sump oiling, the silver thing behind the right splash gaurd may have been part of it but did see anything else to tell.

Big motor, small car........perfect. Get rid of the funky hood, wing and other adolescent stuff and I want one.

Sweet transplant, I only wish he rev'd it up a bit when he was accelerating b/c he didn't go anywhere near redline.

Nice Bride seats too.

Yeah, but I have a feeling if he had we would've gotten Dizzy! lol He kept saying, 'ok, so we're in 4th to go 35mph just to keep her under control...' lol

If it was an original Vette LS1 it would have had a DBW throttle body and the ECU will set a code since it sense no DBW motor on the throttle body. Wouldnt work too well with a stock Vette ECU. It would actually be easier to put in the pedal assembly from the Vette than to mess with the programming.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
