Fuel injection cleaning question.

I just purchased my 02 s2000 and it has a slight stumble at idle. i cleane the trottle body and it was still there. i was trying to find the fuel line schrader valve to perform a fuel injector flush but i cant find it. does the s2000 have one? or is there another procedure for cleaning the fuel injectors? or do i might have another problem not related to the injectors? i have all the tools neccesary to peroform a fuel injector cleaning i just need to find that stupid service port. hopefully there is one. thanks for the help.

Is the idle problem only happening when the a/c is on. i read someone has a problem when the a/c was working hard.

When you say a 'stumble', does it drop below 1000 RPMs when you come to a stop/idle? If so, this is a common occurrence and can happen with or without the AC on. The reason some people believe it is due to the AC is it usually happens when it is hot. In my research (as limited as it is), it is a symptom of heat soak. The engine pulls in some hot air and it causes the engine to drop below it's usual idle level. This is some what common and according to xviper (an S2000 guru), it is nothing to be really worried about.

If it is something other than what I just described, I can't help you, sorry.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

That basically is the problem i have and it makes complete sense. its not a very big stumble just a bout 100-200 rpm half second drop. so that may very well be my "problem". i think i can handle the stumble if its going to be considered normal. thanks

thought i would give an update. i work for chevrolet and gm has a fuel injector cleaner that comes in a big bottle. so i put it in and filled up the tank after a 200 miles the stumble went away! my fuel milage also went up from 25mpg to 28mpg!! so if anyone is interesed in cleaning thier injectors with a very high quality product i would recomend the gm fuel injector cleaner. the gm part# is 88861011 i believe it retails for around $27. very expensive but will worth the money.
