Megan Headers

Hey I was thinking about buying the Megan 4-2-1 headers because it seems like alot of people are using them but I was not sure if they have had any problems with them or not. I have searched Megan Headers and didnt come up with anything helpful. My main concern is fitment and cracking. My mechanic is only concerned they may crack because they are cheaper headers so Im tryin to see if anyone has had this problem or not?

I would go with what ur mechanic tells you...havent really put a Megan header on an s2...there are way better headers out there...if you stick to something like J's Racing or T1R you wont be disappointed...Megan really is an entry level product for budget builds...you have an S2000 man...come on now...isnt she worth pampering with the good stuff???...i have the T1R header and its AMAZING...but...in the end its your choice

very well said decepticon.... U know he's right man, I know this is gonna sound mad corny but we have a car of beauty...this ain't no ordinary civic(not ragging on civics[if done right I actually like civics]) but I mean, I could have bought so much shit for my car already like off of eBay and stuff.... But u gotta be patient and save up the lil extra cash for the good quality stuff =) ... Granted I wanna actually save my money to start paying off the principle of the car before I buy any more parts.... But yea that's what's up

Few can match the quality of the parts that your S2000 came with. Why downgrade?

Are there any headers yet that actually make power over stock? I haven't looked into it for quite a while since everyone was having trouble even matching the stock header's quality and power output...

Yes, but not worth all the money. I'd say the best bang for the buck header is the ricks header. Its a copy of the Mugen header and is 600 dollars. I think its also meant only for the AP1 as well.

Another thing to consider is that only a couple of headers can work with the oem heatshield on the exhaust. More heat in the engine bay isn't good.

I went with Rick's because of the quality, results and the price.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
