hey guys, im back after a heartace from my ex. i finally got my s2k detailed and ready to turn some heads again like usual. i was browsing ebay and came across this link

its a performance chip, +15 hp and more mpg, i read all the feedback and it seems true. people are seeing improvements. is this really worth 15 bux, or is it a waist of my time? thanks guys, apprecate it

First off, I’m unfamiliar with this specific item you’re referrin’ to, but goin’ by the claimz, it comez under the general headin’uv magic-beanz.
If if did whudd’itt’z said ta’doo, it’d be a first.
I godda go with “waste’a time”.
(But, way back there in’a shadowed cornerz’uv all our mindz there’z that liddle voice whisperin’: “but one neva know . . . . doo one?” ‘Hate that voice!

If it was that easy to make 15 HP they would be selling it for much more. Especially since the S2000 is a 100 per hp kind of car. (a little exaggerated but you get the point).

Please don't buy it. If you do, don't tell us you did. Cause you will be sorry and we might have to start a thread just to make fun of you.

Its very fishy that they claim to inprove engine life. I doungth anyone can do that better than honda. If someone is claiming that they are probably full of sh*t. All a chip would do is change the engine tunning and if you read info about the gains with piggiback syustems it is clear that its a scam.

I figure that with a low price they expect to get some people to buy it just to test it. I wonder if you bought it what would they send you. Where do you put the "chip".

True story about miracle performance products: I was on vacation in Slack-Jaw County Arkansas last week. (ok... I'm making up the name of the place, but really WAS in the back-est of back woods in the AR Ozarks. Found some beautimus twisties too!!). Anyway, I was in a bait shop and saw an ad posted by a local lube shop which claimed that they were installing a device which injects microscopic amounts of titanium into the fuel mixture. Said that "government studies" indicated a 23% improvement in gas mileage. All for a low, low price of $139.

Total, complete bogus-ness. Just like this miracle chip. For the love of all that is good... don't do it!

I doubt it would work as advertised in our car, HOWEVER, that doesn't mean you couldn't buy it and prove us all wrong. If you do get it and it works, come back and tell us. If it doesn't work, you don't need to tell us you ever bought it.
