MAX POWER

Hey Guys I need help, what type of exhaust system would give me max power. So far I'm kinda thinking of getting the F1 exhaust but I dont know if there is anything else out there that will give me more power. Please tell me whats the best exhaust to use and how much power will it give me.

One thread is all that is needed to answer these question you have asked.

I would suggest doing a search through the site and ALL of your question will be answered.

After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

There is no magical exhaust... We dont even talk about gains because there basically is not any at all.. just sound and looks thats how to make your choice. If anything go with a TI exhaust and loose some major weight

Skunk2 exhaust gives you like 5 or 10hp. I can't recall the exact number.

Save your money or you will nickel and dime your self to death. You could easily spend $2000 and only get like 5 HP if you're lucky. Save up for forced induction of some sort. Refer to this months issue of DSports and you'll see what kind of gains you can expect. Get yourself an AEM intake if you must buy something now. Everyone seems to love them and they will sound and look great. According to Dsport mag you will get 2 HP, but more importantly 7 ft tq.

Not to doubt you but do they have dyno sheets to prove that... I have yet to see someone that has gained that much from an exhaust on an S but maybe I'm wrong. I sure noticed nothing with mine besides sound and mine was $1100

The intake is pointless man I dont think its worth it. I have it but it was a waste.

The intake exhaust is just for sound only.

the t1r dual will get 10 whp at some points and around 6 or 7 at peak. dyno sheets to prove it are all over s2ki.

please do not listen to everyone telling you to save your money. if 10 whp is worth it, spend the dough, if that is what you want.

the exhaust will distribute the power across the band differently than the stock exhaust. this is why people will say you won't get any gains, they are talking at peak rpm. but you will get hp increases and tq increases at lower to mid and even middle high rpms.

I agree. Most CAI & Exhaust w/Silencer combo is going to get you around 10 - 15 total. You are looking at a starting price of around $1500 for both installed. I feel it is worth it. The grunt alone is great. You will wonder how you ever lived without it.

With a ACT Stage II Clutch, Invidia N1 and an AEM CAI - I was looking at about 12hp when it was dynoed. I have no sheets, so take my word for it or not.

I say DO IT...

even though its pricey berk technology seems to make the only dyno proven exhaust its dual and full titanium so.... and they make a good test pipe too

go to you tube and look up the vids

ravynx has one; a full header, tp, exhaust system. he has some great pictures of the install too. i see him mostly on S2KCA though. he's a nice guy, if you pm him, he'll give you a good run down of the system.

don't buy it off ebay, i think there are better deals through one of the sponsors on S2Ki.

I actually heard ravynx and his exhaust at an autox a while back and i was very impressed, not as loud as the invidia or skunk2, but it had a nice deep sound and looked great

Skunk2 makes the same HP/torque increases with the silencers as it makes without. I've seen the dyno numbers. If you need proof look it up on S2KI.
