mechanical over rev

would a 6th to 3rd gear downshift at freeway speeds result in a mechanical over rev in an ap1?

I am pretty sure that 3rd gear is good for 90 miles per hour so if you were doing highway speed of 65 to 75 then you should be okay.

In my ap2, ive downshifted from 6th to 3rd going 70 miles per hour and i was at 7000 rpm so in an ap1, im pretty sure you wouldnt over rev. Be sure to downshift one gear at a time to rev match it correctly.
