I was thinking about buying one of the stock Carbon Fiber Hoods, does anybody have any input to which is better & what I should expect . I was looking at Vis & the Seibon .

Carbon fiber is played out IMO. If you are getting it for weight savings, that is one thing. If so I would get it painted your OEM color. Otherwise stick with the OEM hood since it is aluminum. Going carbon is not going to save you much weight anyways, except in the wallet.

Well the hood has a few small rock chips, but I was going for the look. I have one of those by-plane wings but if I remove it I have two holes that will have to be fixed. Being its Silverstone you have to paint everything. It S*%#ks.

A carbon fiber hood. Really? Getting a carbon fiber hood is like being "everyone else". It seems like everyone has a carbon fiber hood. toyrunner, why do you wanna be like everyone else? (You should get an Iphone!) I agree with dez. If you DO get a carbon fiber hood, paint it the same color as your car. If you don't color it, then go for the primer white front bumper, green back bumper, suzuka blue trunk, and yellow doors. It'll look good on your Silverstone S. And while your at it, I heard Auto Zone has deals this week on great spinner rims. $25 for a pair. Chrome. Bling-bling YO!
