GD-1 front bumper fog lights
I am in the process of repainting my S2K. i am also replacing my front bumper. I have chosen a "GD-1". Now here is my question. Does anyone know of a fog light that will fit in the brake cooling ducts. I would like to put a pair of fog lights in that location.

I am trying that, and I will let you know what I think. I have had good luck with aftermarket bumper covers as well as bad luck with them.

The body shop did have 1 used and slightly damaged Odyssey fog lamps that we used for a fit check and they were just enough off that it wasnt worth the trouble.
We ran out of time and going with brake cooling ducts. The cooling ducts and hardware were purchased from Pegasus racing products and fit perfect at the bumper and a couple of brackets at the wheel and perfectly working cooling ducts. However I dont think I will need them because it is not a track car. My wife reminded me that the old 944 in the garage was bought for that reason. |

i agree with the fit difficulty. i would NEVER try it by myself. The body shop stated that it was more work then they thought it would be. I pick up my car from the shop on tuesday and i will see how it looks.

ok check out my profile page for the results.
The bumper looks great. The fit is not as good as the OEM bumper around the head lights. I spoke to the body shop that installed it and repainted the whole car, and this is what they said. "what a pain in the ass it was." Bottom line is dont try this at home. It looks good but it took a lot of work to get it to fit correctly. |
