Touchless Power Wash

Just got my new s2000 3 weeks ago. It's a great car, however i took the car through the touchless power wash, and as the power wash went around my car, there was no leaks. However as I drove off water leaked through the window, on both the passenger and driver side. From my observation, water was leaking though the part of the door seal where the two seals meet and when it comes apart when you put the rag top down. Spoke to the guy at work with a s2k, and he said covertibles in general should not go through power washers. Which makes sense. But has anyone ever took their s2k through a touchless power wash and have experience the same problem?

The manual states in no uncertain terms 'Do NOT go through automatic car washes.' I assume Honda wrote that in there for a reason.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

If you need the salt off of it, just hose it down at home with a good nozzle. If you live in the Northeast it's too cold to really give it a proper wash anyway, unless you have a heated garage. I won't trust automatic car washes, and I will go so far as to say I won't use the manual ones either.

I won't use an automatic wash on the S. Too high of pressure for the top. When I have to use a manual wash (roadtrips) I won't spray the top with full pressure.

Would getting a hardtop for the car change it? I mean with a hardtop, you get one continous seal that goes across the window. I'm sorry I'm asking stupid question, but here's the thing, I had an rsx-s, I loved it, it was freakin awesome, drove it for 2 and a half years, put 60+k miles on it and nothing happened. I than traded it in for a STi, it was great too, but nothing like a honda. This S2k, topples all, STi, Zs, all of them. I just can't convince myself that the S2k have some flaws that would appear on an american car...no offense
