I Hate Deers !
2 nights ago as i was driving back from work ON BASE, going around 25 miles per hour,a deer ran out of the woods and nailed the right side of my car.
The dent is not so bad but the scratches it left killed me. The paint is going to cast me around 300 for the side panel and right door. Yellow blend with red pearls. The dents however is the question i want to figure out. Should i get it repaired professionally or just buy a do it yourself quick dent pull out at any autozone or autopart place. . . ? what do you guys think ? http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...dent012807.jpg http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...ent0128072.jpg |

Dunno Es, it sounds like you've gone through some trouble to have a special lookin' Stewie. Have you done any tin-knockin' before?
If you're willin' to put up with a less-than-perfect look while you hone your metal-workin' skills the DYI sounds like an option. But yellow with red pearl seems to indicate that you might not wanna settle for anythin' but durn near 100%. Be well n' be grateful. At least he didn't join you in the cockpit. Java

I would agree with Java, if it were me i would have a pro do it just because I am very picky about my car. When it comes to appearance I have no problem paying extra so that is looks the best it can. I guess though it depends on how good you feel trying to remove the dents yourself.

Judging from your pictures, it looks like the dent is in a bad place. Its kind of near the crease (center line of the door), and near the rear of the door. I would have it professionally done, that way you don't end up with any ripples. BTW - Sorry to hear about your run in with a deer.
