car covers

I need a car cover. Any reccomendations?. I'm hesitant to get one but my cat has taken a liking to the car. It has to be good quality and not overpriced, I called the dealer and their car covers are about $230 which is way more than I want to spend. Thanks

getting rid of the cat isn't an option. Now, about those car covers?

I picked up a basic car cover from a local autoparts place for $30. It doesn't fit all that well, but it is just to cover the car in the garage during winter. It doesn't see wind, rain, or snow. If you need something that fits well, I would spend the money and get the right cover for the car.

OK, there is covertec and that fits fairly well is light weight and does not take up a lot of space. Does not have a good antenna compartment, but if you are willing to live with that you spend about $89. I use this one for trips/travel due to not taking up a lot of space.

I use the original S2000 one, that is a lot heavier, takes up more room, but has a much better inside liner for for the garage. I found one on e-mail for $79+shipping. Knowing what I know now, I would for garage purposes always go for the original cover even for $230.

Be well, Franz

Thanks, I wound up going with the facory Honda cover and it's top quality. It fits perfect and is ultra soft inside. You can see why it costs so much. No regrets.

I have had the factory cover since before I owned the car.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Yep, when you put it on the first time you get it. There is just nothing better then the original.

Ciao, Franz
