Seibon and VIS oem CF Hood

Anyone knows if the either the seibon or the vis CF hood has the windshield washer fluid nozzle holes? Any not happy with either brand? How's the workmanship on these products?

Seibon hoods have openings for the nozzles. However, I am generally unhappy with my hood made by them. I received it slightly warped, and no matter how I adjust it, it never sits quite perfectly. I have a ViS trunk that fits very well and seems to be of generally better construction.

But pretty much any aftermarket body parts you buy are going to be hit-or-miss on quality. I've seen hoods that sell for much more that fit just as poorly.

I'm looking to buy the seibon VS hood. 3 sites are selling this, and prices are similar. evasivemotorsports, vividracing and carbonfiberhood.com (link from this forum). Any advise on which store is more reputable? I am kind of worried that I will get a bad hood too. it would help if I know which store would let me return if I get a warped hood and not give me any problems.
any suggestions?

I bought mine through Evasive. It's shipped via a freight company. It is your responsibility to inspect the hood once you receive it BEFORE the freight truck leaves your residence.

I only gave mine a quick once over to check for flaws and scratches. I didn't think to check to see if everything was lined up perfectly.

Funny I found this thread because I was just about to ask who makes the best CF OEM-style hood for us... while installing my AEM V2 and Hondata gasket today I totally bent the poop out of the an edge on my hood. Yay for not watching how much ceiling room the car has when jacking it up!

I have a VIS OEM hood, fitment is good. I've had it for two years now. It's garaged at home and sat in the sun 8+ hours a day at work the first 1.5 years. It barely faded and does not have any "cancer" or cloudy signs yet. I use a synthetic polymer wax every so often - but made sure the greasy residue is completely off.

The alignment is slightly off, but it's normal for ALL CF products no matter who you buy it from. I also have the Seibon hardtop, trunk, and oem lip. Quality is better, but will slightly warp after a month or two. It's just the nature of the material.

Both have the nozzle cut out, but minor shaving will be necessary with either companies. Holes on the underside for the clips/lines will needed to be drilled.

Hope that helps, check my profile if you need pix.
