Side Strakes ?

Question - Honda calls them side strakes.

They seem unpopular. Are they not worth the money or is it that they just don't look good ?

In my opinion, you could spend that money on something much more attractive or practical.

That's a good description.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

I've godda go with Bat n' Go on this one.
Strakes're a "looks" thing that doesn't have any beneficial effects on the performance.
If somethin's gonna make Stewie accelerate, r', stop quicker, r', handle better I can justify springin' for it. If it's jus' looks, well, it'd hafta look unbelievalbly good to get between me n' my money.
Be well.

They look ok, but they aren't worth the money the stealership charges for them. And following their instructions requires drilling holes in the bodywork if I'm not mistaken.

They do require drilling...They were already on my car when I got it but a 2x4 fell off some yahoos truck and ripped my drivers side strake off...Now that they are off the car, I think it looks better with them gone...They really don't look that good in person...
