Head lights

My driver side head light seems lower by a hair than the right side. It annoys the crap out of me.

Can someone please tell me how difficult it is to tweak this problem so they are both level?

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure it's not the offset that is built into the headlamp (so you don't blind the oncoming drivers)?

Yes, there is a built in off set where the driver side head light points down just a little so as to not blind oncoming drivers. When you look at the lights on a wall, it kind of looks like a step.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

If I'm not mistaken, both headlights have that "step" built into them, r', at least that's the way it use'ta be ('believe that's where the ol' Cibie "Z" beams got their moniker), n' yes, it's all about givin' the on-comin' drivers a little more of a buffer zone.
Be well.

You can try buffing them with Plastix (I think Meguiar's makes it) and a buffer like Mothers Powerball, if the scratches aren't too bad. How did you scratch them so bad that they need replacing?

Plastix works great!!! My headlights looked all cloudy and scratched up

a little rubbing and some Plastix and WHAM close to new headlights

Good advice i'd go with Megs Plastix or some Poorboys polish to remove any defects...

If you need new ones they cost $360 each from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. That $1000 number is probably with the ballasts, igniters and bulbs.
