Convertible Top Care

What products do people use for their top. Are the tops vinyl? Any help?

I use 303 on mine. A great product.
It really is a marine product so if it protects around salt water, you know it's good stuff.

I'd hafta say that any care is gonna give you longer life than no care, but the top has a life n' like everythin' else sooner r' later it's gonna godda be replaced. The trick is to make it as later'z possible.
Used ArmorAll n' 303 n' found 'em to smell like the same batch'a kickapoo-joy-juice. Also ran a totally unscientific-type test where I put one on one side'a my top n' the other (as did our UK brother Fletch) on the other. Water repellency life of both, while I didn't monitor it every rainfall, was real close.
Then someone on the Miata site came up with RaggTopp. Hands-down the best'a what's available (disclaimer time: In My Opinion) n' it comes with the added plus'a bein' recommended by most manufacturers for their raggtopps.
But, like I said: any care is gonna give you longer life than no care.
Holdin' off the Reaper. It's the only way'da fly.
Be well.

I use 303 on the outside of my top. What do you use on the inside? Not the whole inside, but the few inches that is exposed to the elements when the top is down. Mine is faded and it looks like cloth. I know the top is vinyl, but is the inside lined with cloth or is it also cleverly designed vinyl that looks like cloth too?

Here is a site that has the various materials and what is required to clean and protect those materials.

I had posted this before, but here it is again. I have used what is recommended and it has worked great, even when the S2000 was egged and the egg had dried on the top over night.
