AP1 grille

I've given some consideration to taking out all the infrastructure on the grille on my AP1 and either leaving it open, or putting in a mesh grille... Has anyone else here done either of those? I'd like to see what it looks like wide-open before I do anything I can't take back on it. If nothing else, opinions as to whether or not it'd look better wide open or the way it is would be great.

i'd keep it on. i have seen it replaced with mesh. not really my thing. sorry i do not have pictures. but OEM looks so good. if i was to change anything, i would paint the condenser black to where you could not see it from afar. LOL

You can buy the grill front Coastal Metals, but it uses the existing piece as an attachment point. I have had my CM grills for years with no problems.

Sorry, I don't have any good pics I can get to at work of the grill installed. Mine is black, not the silver they show on the web site.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
