Want louder exhaust note...ideas - Page 3

'Been thinkin' on'itt considerable.
N' here'z how it playz out (on my scorecard anyway):
If it's a well-appointed, take-on-all-comerz, take-no-prisoners Americun Arn V8, I wanna hear it. Hell! . . I wanna taste it. N' most'uv'all . . I wann'itt'ta make the ground dance beneath my feet. I wanna feel'itt! If for no other reason than 'cause I wanna let the neighbors all run to their windowz in awe "Oh *@&#! He's pullin' it out!"
As nothin' budd'a glorified motorcycle in-line 4 . . . oh, it certainly duz the job'n'all . . . but . . . it's like listenin' to a @*#&in' router.
Yeah, routers can make nice stuff'n all, but I'd rather not listen to'em while they doo'itt.

Dwellin' in the gray area in between'z never been very interestin' . . y'know?

I'm curious Java.....do ya have the stock can on the R1?

I agree with Java (and that concerns me). With stock tubes, the car has a pretty nice sound. If you're 17 years old and want that "hey, look at me", it probably doesn't do it for ya. But follow one of these things and listen to it when it goes vtec. The music is damn near perfect.

Gotta agree Don..........sounds really good in vtec. Change the exhaust then ya change the sound system cause ya can't hear nothin but WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Correction, with the top down, could not hear the sound system even with the stock exhaust. Of course, it could just be me and my old partially deaf ears.
