Wreck at Deal's gap

I was riding my crotch rocket on the Gap following some older dude driving a silverstone metallic "S" with a turbo and single exhaust with what looked like a young Indian guy in shotgun. So we passed the Tail of the Dragon store and bout halfway to the overlook pull-over spot one of the S-2000's was wrecked and cops directing traffic around the scene.
Guess you guys call it the "Dragonball Run". Saw some really sweet 2000's out there. Shame about the wreck though. Anyone know if occupant(s) are ok?

Here's what I saw.

Check out pages 1&2 of 04/19/2008 under "odd shots"

OUCH!
Hope no-one was hurt.

I was there.
It was one of the group from Chicago. He was rounding the curve at the Gravity Cavity and spotted a semi coming. he stopped, the semi came around and the trailer wheels caught him and drug him about 25 feet. He and his wife were ok but upset to say the least.
Any semi driver stupid enough to use that as a shortcut should have his license pulled.

I wuz wonderin' 'bout the specifix bat, figured't you'd be the one with the info. Thankz.
'Couldn't agree more with the semi-driverz "penance". That stretch'a twisty'z national heritage. It ain't commercial thoroughfare.
