I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

That means a lot coming from you. Not to pull the old card but your an older guy correct? When I decided on modding my car I want it to look good to 20yr olds as well as 30, and 40 yr not to crazy but some thing different than oem. I would say it about other guys, But have no clue how old anyone is lol.

Ha Ha....I'll never tell you Sonny!!

Old enough to know better RL, for sure.
I do know that age doesn't have alot to do with taste, if that counts fer somethin'.

again, the car looks right to me. good work.

Nah I know age doesn't have taste... But I was going for a clean look, I can find typical front bumpers that "most" older guys will hate "most" younger guys will love, For example I had a guy that worked at honda prob in his 40's come out to look at my wheels while I was picking some thing up, Then had a bunch of 10 year olds yelling at me that they liked it, good feeling after bustin my hump to get it

That looks awesome, I love how the top turned out. I wasn't a fan of the wheels initially, but I think they really work well with your car.

Man it looks great, I love the wheels. I'm another of the old guys here (54) and not a big fan of the riced out look. Nothing about your car says Uncle Ben!

Old guy here. Not nearly as old as Jagg, but catching up faster than I'd like to admit.

And no, I'm not into modding. But I gotta say your ride looks great. Very clean and understated look. Nice work.

no kidding?? Damn that looks sweet. I saw a hardtop on octanemotorsports for $799 and the hardware kit that includes the glass is $850. So is $1650 a good price to pay for one of these hardtops? Where did you get it painted?

haha well I just bought a couple pairs of kicks today so I now it's time for the hardtop! My only concern about getting the hardtop is that since the side "fake window" is black, isn't it necessary to tint your windows really dark to match it?

Check out this picture, I realize the windows are rolled down but I imagine that is what it would look like if you put on a hardtop with no tinted windows.

I don't want to tint my windows too dark, or even at all. Plus I don't need another reason for these CA cops to pull me over. Am I just being a technical bastard? What do you guys think?

lol not kicks (thats foot wear), shoes (rims, that what an older black guy calls them at work, he's into donks)

also that's a great call on the tint Ray, i wonder if we can get RL to post a pic or two with the windows down

Yea i can get some pics tomorrow with the windows down, Its not going to look bad without the tint but it deff gives it a better flow, Check out your states laws you may be able to tint just not too dark. I know here in NJ you cant have ANYTHING on the front windows but I have had no issues.

Also IMO it just doesn't look right solid painted seen it on a few cars doesn't look that good, Dont get me wrong have seen some that look good though see if i can find a pic

Depending on if thats Glass or plexi it may be a decent price.. I paid around 2500 total for everything with paint, paint costing me around 700, My top was around that 8-950ish got a deal on hardware for 600 with plexi tinted window if you can get glass I would. So sounds about right for the top.
