Scratch removers

From time to time, someone asks about scratch removers. Here's an interesting link.

I used Griot's Garage machine polish #3 (the least aggressive) with the random orbital on the S and it took out the spider-webbing but I can still see the other minor scratches. I tried Meguiars "Ultimate Compound" polish on my oxidized boat and I'm not impressed (but my boat was pretty chalky). I'll have to try it on one of my cars and see if it is better than the Griot's.
