Disappointed with Ricks Clear Side Marker Lights

I have been running Ricks Clear Side Marker Lights for about 6 months. They always get condensation inside of the lens. Today I was attempting to remove them and dry them when:

Left side rear clip snapped off

Left lens popped off

Right lens popped off

Has anyone else had these issues?
Does Ricks have a warranty on these items?

I have been forced to reinstall my OEM ambers. If the clip wouldn't have snapped, I'm sure that i could have reglued the lens back on. But now I am back to OEM.

You can purchase Honda OEM clear signal lights from http://www.handa-accessories.com/. I put them on my car and have not had any issues with condensation. The exact address is http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-04ext.html Good Luck!

you sure you pressed the right side? one side (slanted side) is for holding it in place, the other side is the side you have to slide whatever (eg flathead) under and press gently and pull so that just that side pops out. i broke a clip once by just pressing too hard when taking it out. the "flexible" latch is not so flexible. press just enough to take it out.....like 2 mm...no more.

I have had NOTHING but success with Rick's. I have purchased quite a few things from him over the years. My clear side markers have lasted 6 years with no problems.

Replacement side markers came in this morning!!!!!! I emailed them Saturday morning, and here it is only Monday morning. Someone really needs to change the title of this thread! Thanks to Ricks for the amazing support of their products. I will Definitely recommend them to others.

Wow 2 pairs with the same problem, that's weird. I can't even find them on Rick's site anymore. Maybe there was a problem with their entire batch.

I agree with some of the guys above, got mine from www.handa-accessories.com and never had a problem.

Sorry to hear that. My only experience with Rick's was ordering a second wind screen because like an idiot, I left the 7/8 sized screen down and dropped the convert top. Clearly user error, but he wouldn't let me pay for a replacement! Not only had the new screen on it's way immediately, but sent me the full sized version.

Seems a class act. This side marker is obviously a problem product.

Glad to hear your not totaly down on Rick's. If the side markers are bad, it's not Rick's fault. The important part is that they responded to the problem quickly.

I've bought several items from Rick's, including side markers and had no problems.

I do like the clear markers, but don't forget to change the blinker fluid.

Got my OEM Clear side markers installed. Hopefully they will perform a little better than Ricks did. BTW, I broke another clip taking off the second set of Ricks marker lights. The plastic is really brittle and cheap, which is most likely why they stopped selling them.

I never changed my blinker fluid when I changed my side markers, actually I wasn't even aware of this. Is this really necessary?
