well it happened. My poor car got the crap knocked out of it. I was at a traffic light just sitting there listening to my tunes and the guy in front of me realized he needed to go the other direction. Well, he backed up and drove right into my car. He was cool about it and wrote out a complete statement. So now it back in the shop for a rebuild. It will require a new nose, hood, and reworking the front bracing behind the bumper.

So, today while driving my steering wheel starts to feel sensitive, as if i only have 70% control of the car. It's raining pretty hard so I assume the car isn't griping as well. Few hours later rain stopped and while i'm turning left on an ON-RAMP, the car makes a HARD left when my wheel is barely to the left, almost went off the road. I figured maybe i'm just driving too hard while its still wet. As i'm driving straight the car keeps pulling to the left, sometimes right mostly left but the wheel isn't even being turned? Any Idea's? I know i'm in need of an alignment just not sure if its that or something else causing this to happen.

I'm thinking of buying a sports car in the next year or so and I'm strongly considering the S2000. However, the lack of low end torque makes me question how powerful it would feel for me.

I plan on driving on city streets and I don't think approaching the red line would be a very good idea, would it? I don't really plan on doing a lot of high speed, dangerous driving.

So, would it be a better idea for me to get a car with more low end torque so I could feel that power at lower speeds?

Being Honda owners and car guys, We've got to stretch to find problems to obsess about but I htink I've found one.
( I'm also a Porsche owner and believe me that is not a problem on those forums).

My daughters 03 Civic ( 90k miles) has to have her AC fixed, a friends 07 Civic lost it's compressor at 50K and my son's 03 CRV ( 75K) compressor is making noises.

Is this a weakness in the s2000's also?

I rarely need or use the AC in my 06 S but should I budget for problems?

I recently bought and was impressed with the workmanship of the vehicle. Since this is my first s 2000, and haven't seen or examined the vehicle before, I would like to know if the rubber on the inside of the wheel well is supposed to cover the entire well. Front and back wells. Thanks for the help - love the car.

Got ripped off a couple of nights ago. Some fine individual came into my carport and pulled off the S2000 badging off the passenger side of my car. Needless to say, I was pretty bummed out about it. Left 5 scrapes in the paint where he pulled it off. But, now that I am doing that I am thinking about badging in general. I know that some people take them all off and some add different ones. I kind of like the idea of replacing the 'H' on the front and back with an 'S'. Several posts have mentioned the Rick's badges, but I have yet to see a clear picture of what they look like. Not even on the Rick's web site. They only show the wheel ones. GOM's nice writeup he posted earlier this week, with the great pictures, didn't give a clear shot of the badging and I found a shot on another post of a NFR car with them, but not clear either. That one was of real interest as mine is red as well. Would it be possible for a couple of you to post a picture please? Another option I was looking at was putting the same 'S' that is on the side badge on the front and back. It strikes me that it may be a bit on the small side though. Sure would appreciate the help on this one. I want to make sure I get it right.
