YouTube - Supra two step

and another one for you

YouTube - Toyota Supra 2-Step

it makes more exhaust, which makes the exhaust turbine spin, which turns the intake turbine, which creates boost, got it?

btw, the second video is a guy from houston, FAST supra, pegged a 1200whp dyno. and yes i know him

You do realize that its not just the exhaust gasses that make a turbo spool right? The first video I heard no turbo spooling and I didnt hear any blow off unless he had a recirculating valve. All I saw was a 2 step being used. The second video I didnt hear the turbo spool up like you would want it to. I didnt hear a thing until he got off the gas and that wasnt a spooled turbo lol I can make my turbo do that just by revving it up.

This is my old old old setup after I turned the timing way down look I dont need a 2 step to get mine to spool. The whole point of anti lag is it lowers timing and adjusts fuel. Video - Isuzu Impulse rs revving

do you see all that backfire? THAT is what makes the turbo spool up quicker to give you boost at launch. if you do not hear the turbo in the second car then you must have hearing problems because i can clearly hear that thing spool. so what else turns the turbocharger besides exhaust?

Do some research thats how I learned. I dunno why you think because its backfiring thats making the turbo spool

why even keep trying to argue back and forth with you about a 2 step helping you build boost? i have been in the supraforums for way too long for me not to know what it does. i have done my research, and i have seen many, MANY cars use 2-step as a form of anti-lag or to build boost in the drag strip. ryan woon's supra is a perfect example. but im not here to put my favorite car on a pedestal, i am here to learn more about the s2k becuase i want to build one to handle, 700whp if possible, but 500-550whp as a daily

Let's keep it civilized folks so we don't have to lock this thread. I would suggest you both agree to disagree and move on.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Ok, i have AEM and a turbo. Yes, the anti-lag will make alot more boost but the 2-step WILL make about 5lbs on my set-up

Good idea. Most people will do it the other (really expensive) way.

Civilized? Ok so people arent allowed to disagree and argue their point? I need to go back to the forum rules. I dont think I recall saying he was stupid or he doesnt know anything about cars or made any attacks towards him personally. He didnt do anything to me either so why would anyone want to lock a thread because two people are arguing over how something works? Unless I missed something in some of the edits.. Oh well not my forum

All I said was 'let's keep it civilized.' I didn't accuse anyone of anything, I just wanted to remind people to keep it under control. The arguing back and forth was not getting us anywhere and even Hi said "why even keep trying to argue back and forth with you" to which I agreed. If you two would like to take it to PM's, be my guest, I would just like to keep this forum positive with quality information especially in a thread as important as this one. Obviously you two were not going to agree on this point, so I suggested to agree to disagree and move on.

Ok, I see these threads at every forum ive been to, "Can I twin turbo my 4 cyl"...the answer is why, with all the money/time it would take, and still get the same, if not less than a single turbo setup...and who TT's a 4 banger? Honestly...
