Would have been nice if you had added the URL. That way everyone could see the specs...I'm just saying...

Have you seen them? They admit to a 2psi "boost"....or roughly the equivalent of driving 30 miles per hour with a good CAI...you look at the company's published "specs" to see where/what they're fudging. It's only a gimmick when you accept or reject claims on blind-faith.

Ya round these here parts we have dynos. Ha its been known for quite some time its a gimmick just like the "speed chip". It doesnt flow enough to make an increase in performance period. Generally with a real turbo 2 psi will give you 20 whp what cai gives you 20 whp? So already you can tell the company is just throwing a bunch of info out to people that dont know any better.
On a side note there was a company out there that made a electric blower that gained some hp however it could only be used for small bursts it required two batteries and it was big and heavy. When it comes to cars theres cheap fast and reliable you can only pick two of those things.

The battery technology is not out there to make this even remotely posible. Like s2000isu said, there is a company that makes them for the stip but its not practical. I canculated once the flow to size a turbocharger ands its imposible to move that without the power from the exhaust.
