Turbo or Supercharger???

I have a stock 02 S2000 and was wondering what would be better for daily driving...a turbo system or a supercharger system? Also would the stock engine be able to handle a turbo or supercharger or would I have to do some mods to the car first? Anyone have and replys???

A SC is basically plug and play. A turbo requires a GOOD tune. SC is cheaper, but turbo can make MUCH more power.

Java Where are you? ... Its time for the speech!

FACT: more power from an already highly strung engine equals less reliability and more maintenance adding up to cubic dollars. Is it really worth it?

When is enough enough?

Ok, I've had S2K Baby for about 2 weeks and I have to say, I think the little girl' is high strung enough. If you are in her RPM range the rear end will break loose in a tight corner if you stomp on it.

More power, for me, right now anyway, being a newbie, is just looking for trouble.

Just to put this into perspective, I've been riding 2 wheelers for the past 40 years or so. The last being a Honda Blackbird CBRXX...0-60 in 2.8 and I can vouch for 175 indicated on many occasions.

Enough is enough.

Even having the car for almost 6 years, having to much power is still 'looking for trouble'.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
