Aye Jagg! Maniacal!
You've pegged it. 'At's the word I was lookin' for! It's a fearful picture. Sends a shiver through me ol' bones it does. It doesn't appear that "normal" is gonna be a word used to describe 'im any longer. I'm afraid that the lad may be lost to the rest'a us NA mortals. (Sigh) 'Pity, that.

ruff ryder thats a supercharger. I have a huge dome so if that was a turbo that size id need like a v12 to spool it haha. This is what I look like when I have a turbo in hand.

My install tip is to take it to a installer. Ha Its a pretty good sized job. For the most part I have been winging it and its actually going together very well. Its not done but i started it today and it sounds pretty cool. My only real tip is make sure you run the belt before you bolt down the bracket cause if you dont know you will curse the car up and down for the next 45 mins.
Oh and a side note my s2000 has 60k miles on it and the oil pan was clean clean to the point that it looked brand new. First car i have ever pulled the pan on thats looked like that. Good stuff

On a related note, how many miles have guys gotten out of the stock drivetrain and motor with the Vortech kit installed? I'd like to get one some day, but wonder about reliability.

Vortech made a booboo in the wiring instructions but if you look at the drawings its easy to find the mistake. I will let ya know which letter they messed up.

(Translation for the cheap seats: Thanks isu. I'm takin' notes.) Be well n' make sure the leash is firmly attached when you take 'er out for 'er initial flight. Java

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I spent an hour today trying to figure out why it would only rev to 3 grand. Had a bad connection all fixed now. I took it for a very short ride tonight. Honestly so far I am not impressed with it. I think I was spoiled by my last car. I only took it to 9 grand 3 times. To much traffic to play and I wasnt driving far for a good place. The one time I pulled to 9 grand it felt pretty peppy the other 2 times felt alright but not what I expected.

The first drive I didnt swap fuel pumps I only drove it for about a mile. I drove it to the shop to change the fuel pump and spark plugs. The plugs looked like it was running very lean. I am hoping it was cause of the huggeeeeeeeeee gap and the stock fuel pump. I drove it for 20 miles or so tonight and it ran great. I hope tomorrow when I pull the plugs it looks a little richer. I dont wanna have to go with bigger injectors. I have 780 cc's laying around but I would then need a ems ugh.
My second opinion of it is two thumbs up. I got the chance to race a ap2 with just intake and a test pipe and it was funny. Car pulls great and hooks so much better than I expected.

Ok I am terrible at instructions but here we go. I started by removing my air intake. I then used the honda tool with a breaker bar and another breaker bar to loosen the crank pulley. It was extremely tight I am a pretty big and strong guy and it took a snapon breaker bar with a jack handle me pulling and my dad pushing to break it loose I couldnt get mine myself. I then lifted the car and removed the bumper. I then removed the old pulley to install the new one. I then removed the oil pan pretty straight forward. Grinded then drilled and tapped the oil pan. Reinstalled the oil pan remember when you install it you want a thin coat of sealant spread well. You do not need hondas sealant like vortechs says good old pepboys stuff works great. Leave it sit over night before adding new oil. Remove the oil sending unit above the oil filter and add the brass fitting so you can install the oil feed line and the oil pressure sending unit. Also remove the vtec solenoid because part of the bracket will get sandwhiched in there. I then put together the sc bracket. Very easy to do the instructions show ya how to do it but you can wing it easy enough. When I installed the two smaller plates to the bracket I left them loose so it would be easier to line everything up. Then make sure you run the belt correctly and its time to mount the bracket to the motor. Youre then ready to install the aftercooler its very simple have to drill a few holes mount it up and youre done. The fmu is just drilling 2 holes mounting it and installing the fuel lines and tapping into a vac line. I cant really explain the wiring to well you will just need the diagram the last wiring instruction they give ya is wrong it tells ya to tap into where ya already tapped but if you check the schematic you will find the mistake. The fuel pump is a painnnnnnnnnnnn but its not hard just hard to get to. I am sure I missed a few things but with a little bit off common sence it is doable.
I would recomend having someone help with mounting the bracket its kinda heavy and a pain to hold and move and get the bolts in. Also if ya have a bad hip back or shoulder climbing under our dash to do the wiring is a hugeeee pain. As far as performance wise I got the chance to play with a ap2 last night. It pulls on it like its standing still. Plenty of power and I am not having any traction issues. I am pretty impressed with it.
