Bov on a comptech supercharger?

I've got a HKS SSQV version one from my previous eclipse that I'm thinking of putting onto my sc, but I'm afraid that it would make that awful whistling noise when decelerating like the one that the turbonetics godzilla bov makes when attached to the comptech sc. (that long ass whistle when you have your foot off the throttle.)

My question is: do all bovs make that awful noise?

The one that comes with the CT SC doesn't.
