upgraded throttle body

has any one upgraded there thrttl body to a bigger mm. or the skunk2 racing one? pros cons? thanks

I wouldn't suggest the skunk2 throttle bodies from personal experience. They stick and have problems. They're the cheapest, but not worth it.

Are you NA or forced induction. If you're NA, don't get one. My MPG dropped alot when I put my 68mm on. It didn't really add any whp. Mayber 1-2. Its just not worth it for the price of gas.

skunk2 sticks so you have to adjust it right, Skunk2 is a clean setup, it relocated your wiring the the bottom side...

Unless your supercharged, I don't see the usefulness of a bigger throttle body. The engine is only going to suck in that much air even if the throttle is bigger!

Exactly. The throttle body then gives the MAP sensor a higher reading and shoves fuel into the engine which makes you run extremely rich and can damage your cat, if you have yours on.

I have a 66 mm throttle body. I works fine with the Mugen ECU but with the stock one causes a cel.
