Turbo Spool Information

Hey guys, I was looking at picking up an S2000 fairly soon, and turbocharging it pretty much out the gate. For those of you that have turbochargers, where are you starting to spool, as well as hitting peak boost at? Where's your powerband? Dyno charts would be great. Basically, I'm looking at finding the best turbo to slap on the car for daily driving foremost, with heavy autocross use, and occasional track use. Price isn't really too much of an issue.
Thanks a lot guys.
Travis

Not many people have successful turbo setups for track/autox use due to extreme heat. You may want to consider a supercharger if the car is going to be a track whore. What do you want to get out of the car?

For the track I wouldn't go bigger than a GT30(R). You don't need a lot of power to have a fast track car and the torque curve of the GT30(R) is pretty impressive. Hell, I wouldn't mind having a nice setup with a GT28R for an all out road race S.

I'm running a GT35R currently.

That's what I would consider doing. Maybe a Dry carbon hood, vented, or some venting on the oem hood. As I understand it's pretty light. I'd consider going no larger than a 30r. I've seen some Dyno Dynamics sheets, and they look like they're pushing 410 to the wheel. On a load bearing dyno, that is set up properly, that's absolutely intense. Especially for Autocross. I don't want to kill my brakes. I want to look at the Full Race Garret kits, along with the Greddy Kits. Your kit is a custom kit, right TheCarGuy?

If price isnt an issue why would you ever consider the greddy kit? Look into the inline kit too.

It's just a bit nice that it is completely carb legal. I could care less, but it just makes things a bit easier if that scenario were to ever happen to me. But, What I'm looking at right now is the Full Race kit, I'd need to talk my shop about getting it sans injectors, so I can substitute my own. Any of you turbo guys running on high octane stuff, or specifically E85? That's what this car will be daily driven on. 105 Octane
