Well I'm in the same boat as u put I'm looking for 300hp from everything I've heard and read the GReddy kit is great for a little under what ur looking for IE 300hp and the only thing u need to buy after the kit is a set of 1step colder plugs (Like GReddy plugs) and good Oil like Amsoil or moble1. Another great key point is a tune seems to be optional because it's got the e-man pretuned. it seems to also be atleast 1grand cheaper then anything else around for FI by the time u get AEm tuned and getting a larger kit. I'm still looking for some poeple to get together for a group buy if possible PM me if u are interested because I found the complete kit for 4300 and can hopfully get it cheaper..

For starters, I would never get a GReddy kit. You may have heard some good things, but there are also been some bad things. With the GReddy (along with any other turbo setup) you should get it tuned immediately. (superchargers can get away with just plugging in boxes because they use the stock fuel injectors and all the boxes do are play with timing and alter the MAP signal.) Using a "pre made" tune on a piggyback isn't going to be optimal for your car, every F20/22C is different and 1 tune won't suffice for them all. Another note, when you decide you do want more than 300whp you're going to have to start replacing major components of the kit (turbo, wastegate, fuel system, engine management, etc.). The GReddy kit is made for ~300whp, if you want more just do it right. Don't cheap out with forced induction on this car.

Look to spend $7k-10k to do everything properly. InlinePRO's base setup should meet your needs easily, with rock hard reliability and top notch customer service.

If you're doing straight line racing, I wouldn't do Greddy. On s2ki, most people run low 13s wtih the Greddy kit. Inline Pro is better for straight line racing.

If you're doing road racing and auto-x, Greddy is the clear winner. It'll spool up alot faster with very little lag so I've read

It all depends on what you want. Like The Car Guy said, the Greddy E-Manage with it isn't the best unit. I'd at least try to get a Greddy Ultimate or AEM 1052 if possible

7to 10 seems crazy to me on FI. I only made 50k this year and I'd go as far as 5k on it. so basically what u're saying carguy in s/c is cheaper in the long run for the 300hp mark? because of the lack of tune and extras

I picked up a used Vortech supercharger a few years ago for $2,200, bought ~$100 of hardware, NOTHING else and put down ~310whp (with an exhaust/test pipe). I had it for about a year and never touched it (aside from tightening the belt), solid reliable.

Figure out what you get for that amount of money and then decide if it's a lot of money.

InlinePRO kit $4000
Engine management ~$1400
Injectors ~$400
Clutch ~$700
Gauges to monitor vitals ~$100-200 each
Installation (if you don't DIY) $1000+
+ Misc little things that pop up.

Yes, it is a lot of money. Be sure this is what you want.

Wow, those chargers are pretty cheap when comparing to the Vortech v-3. I see that the Kraftwerks is CARB pending, so that means my warranty will be void and the car is not yet street legal, right? I dont see anything about the CT being CARB certified. What about turbos? Are there any that have CARB cert?

other sites have reported that site is a scam and tries to get your email address and password and checks to see if your paypal account has the same email and password so they can clean your ass out.

I would not touch anything on that site until other people report that its safe

CARB deals with smog requirements in CA. If it is not CARB legal, then it MAY only be used for off road purposes I thing. Either way people run non-CARB certified items on their vehicles.

Any form of boost will void your warranty.
