What about the Science of Speed SC? Cheaper than the Greddy, better numbers and I've heard nothing but good things about them. Plus, they're taking $250-$500 dollars off if you order by February 27 as their introductory offer. One of the best thing about this kit is that, you don't have to relocate anything and this company are specialists of the S2000 and the NSX.

Hope no one minds if I add my 2 cents. I've read everything about the GReady kit I've been able to find. I haven't seen the dyno on the SOS kit but since it's a SC kit the Gready kit will make the power a ton faster in lower RPMs

what I'm saying is it's all in were u want the power because u can get the turbo kit for 3k

cheap? ebay kit if they make one.
reliability has a direct relationship with price/cost in MOST cases.
another cheap way is to piece a kit together. Buying a couple parts at a time until he gets everything he needs. That way it is not a lump payment and he can do it over time. Plus, sitting parts is pretty good motivation. There are a ton of things to consider for turbo. 300 is fairly modest but it also isn't really compared to stock. It is better to do it right the first time then ultimately spend money on a blown motor the second time.

Piecing together is kit isn't a bad idea. But the thing is, it won't be CARB approved. Best bet is to go with the Vortech SC if you live in CA or any other state that has strict emission laws.

Yea the greddy kit was made for reliability... and after some research, I have some things to say about the greddy. First off the turbo that the greddy kit comes with is capable of producing over 15 psi. the kit comes with a waste gate that is set for 7.5 psi which is why it only puts down a little under 300whp. next the turbo was set so low for two reasons: 1 to make it carb legal in all 50 states and 2 to make certain the high compression f20c and f22c1 engines last as long as they were designed to.

I wouldn't mind having one, only down side is that boosts not really the plan for my car; not to mention with $5,000 i would have one amazing handling car/

The more I look at the cost of building or buying a good turbo or supercharger setup, the more appealing nitrous looks.

Nitrous is as reliable as a turbo or a supercharger as long as you know how to set it up and know how (and when) to use it.
