Finally got to a dyno
So I have been wanting to dyno my car for awhile now and a s2000 dyno day came up so I figured what better time. We slapped it on the dyno and it ran crazy lean. I have a wideband but just havent installed it yet but I keep and eye on the plugs and they always look perfect bah. Anyways being a dyno day with a bunch of cars to smash in we didnt have time to get it spot on but we got it better. I told em to take it to redline I figured I havent blown it up yet doing 4th gear pulls itl make it on the dyno once especially since we got it running a little richer. So they ran it and it put down 316 whp on a dynojet. The tune still needs work and it started to break up from like 7800-9k so I gotta figure that out. Anyways I am pretty happy with it. There were 10 other s2000's and the lowest number was 201 bone stock and the highest was 316.

201 is a bit high for bone stock? Does the Dynojet read a bit high?

Nice!!! Im looking to get dyno'd myself in about a month myself with my 75 shot.
Really weird. I remember reading a few threads on s2ki that had the same thing happened with their supercharged s2000s. They were getting dyno'd for dyno events and found that they were running like 14.4 AFRs and they said they ran it for like 10k with that setup and no problems. |

201 with a healthy car is pretty normal I think. Dynojet usually reads right in the middle.
Yup I have heard of that too d1sclaimer. I thought my tune was safe because of how the plugs looked but I guess I was wrong. That will teach me for not installing the wideband yet. What did you dyno at when you did yours go did you ever dyno with the larger pulley?

No, I only used the smaller 7 lb. pulley from the beginning. I have done 315 with larger injectors, but didn't like the way it drove on the street so I went back to the OEM injectors and have done 300 WHP a few times. We are at 2600 feet if you believe that makes a difference.

They are gapped perfect. I actually just installed larger injectors and a wideband and wot my car is at about 13.1 at 5k rpms then drops to 12.6 at about 6k and stay from 12.6 to 12.1 to redline. Car is running very well now.

The only reason you got 220 is because you had less resistance on your rear tires because of the cf fuel door. Oh and stickers add hp. Also what ghetto ass shop has haircuts going on during a dyno session. Woulda been funny if the car backfired and he chopped his ear off.

Well I have a totally different setup now. I went with a smaller pulley, larger injectors, alcohol injection, and ems. But when I had that setup no it did not. Before I went to the dyno the car sat for like 2 months and then I put some new gas in it so I am not sure if the gas was going bad or I put bad gas in or what.

honestly bronx there are some factory freaks out there. That was at the delval dyno day at rt tuning. Most of the s2000's were doing right around 200 but this one ap2 did I believe 230 something and he didnt have all that many mods.
