Exhaust Comparison

I am trying to decide which exhaust system I want. Just wanted some input from you guys. I have narrowed it down to 3 exhausts: T1R Dual 70mm, Invidia Dual 70mm, or Greddy Dual 70mm.

I plan on turboing the car in the near future. This is just part of the prep. I'm just wondering what the difference is in hp/tq gains between the 3 and the difference in weight. They all sound and look good. The invidia sounds very mean however not sure if it offers less performance than the other two. I Also hear it's somewhat heavier. Opinions?

For NA I think Mugen is the best and for NA you don't want to go over 63 mm or the performance will decrease. For FI of course you can larger.

IF i were to get an exhaust, i would base my decision on 3 things:

1) Sound - deep, not loud
2) Looks - snug fit, not gaudy
3) Price - Cheapest possible

Other than that, I wouldnt waste my money. Thats why i didnt get one.

Invidia will drive you, your neighbors and the police in some towns crazy, they are extremely loud.

I have the T1R dual, sparrow 70mm and I love mine. I personally keep my silencers in which keeps it actually on the quiet side, quietest at my meets, but its easy enough to take them out and have a pretty loud growl as well. But even with the silencers in the high rpms scream too its just the lower RPMs you loose sound and drone which i think is a big plus.

Invidia is a great way to go, yes lots of people always seem to complain about the drone of the exhaust. You wont find a meaner sounding set up, I was running a megan header then switched over to the 5Zigen and the drone went away for the most part and that deep tone was still there.

Ditto. I ran with an Invidia for one day. The droning was insufferable and while I had no dyno to prove it, I think there was a loss of mid range power.

Maybe this comparison will help you tho.
