Turbo vs Everything else

hello everyone i was n the computer the other day looking at videos of s2000 and i was wondering what you guys thought would it be worth it to save the money for a nice turbo kit or would it be better if you use the same amount of money for different kinds of mods like exhaust intake body kit ems anything like that. What do you guys think?

If this is a real question I apologize, I just find it hard to believe with some of the threads that have been recently started you would ask this question... Turbo= more hp... exhaust intake headers= loss of money for nothing

This is a question you need to answer for yourself. Do you want it faster, or do you want better looks and sound?

You should get one of these.
http://www.electricsupercharger.com/

I heard it gives you 9000 horsepower, JK

By the way everyone including me says these are full of crap
but has anyone actually tried it?

And to answer your question, nothing besides juice or forced induction will get u any horsepower from our cars but if you say u dont know if your ready for FI hp increase then dont get one

any petrol head comes to your dillemma at one point in their cars life but the answer lies within you. Do you want more horsepower or a cooler sounding car. Both are legitimate ways to go but you have to make up your own mind on how you spend your own money.

Do you get what im saying or am i rambling again

Buy the turbo. After you go with boost, you will never want to go back to NA.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

With the dollars you have mentioned above, take a look at what you mainenance costs are going to be before you start looking at mods. You will likely need a new set of tires with a low cost car, probably a battery and maybe even roof repair, replacement. These cars are reasonable to maintain, but not cheap, like a civic for instance.

Well, I have had my turbo as daily for 2 years now and I don't see any problem with it, and it is such a joy to drive.. That's all.. If I would do it all over again; I must say I will have to repeat the turbo setup again..

Kraftwerks offers a really nice S-charger kit that's worth looking at and Greddy is making a tuner kit soon... or it's out.

im really loving that kit that you were talkin about and the price for it seems realy good a bang for the buck but my question is how long do you the car will last with this kit and stock everything else. Im still afraid that the engine wont be able to take it i dont know mabey im wrong

It should last as long you keep up with the scheduled maintenance. I doubt anyone here that has experience with FI is going to tell you that the engine cant take it.

I think that your gut instinct is telling you that your not ready for FI ("but i was just thinkin mabey im not ready for that kinda hp right now"), so you should just go with gettn a body kit and exhaust. You can always get FI later on when your ready for it.
