Custom Shift Boots - Choice of Leather, Alcantara and Carbon Fiber
Hi guys,
I work with car interiors, and lately I put together a pattern from a stock S2000 shift boot. Now I can make custom shift boots out of a wide selection of colors in leather, alcantara, and carbon fiber vinyl. You can even choose the thread color. Let me know if you're interested. Here are some samples of my work: ![]() ![]() Thanks |

And yes, the shift boot is exactly the same as stock, except you can choose from a selection of materials and colors to customize. Thanks |

I'm likin' em! I'm wondering how the carbon fiber vinyl one would look in an S with red interior. For the price, I may be interested in providing a testbed for one, though. I'd gladly snap a few pics of it and send them to you for the price.

![]() There are many other materials/colors available as well: http://www.shiftstyle.com/color_chart.php How about $25 for the sample boot including shipping? If you could snap some photos that would be much appreciated. Thanks |

These are REALLY cool, something I never thought of doing, but now I am very interested. What do you think guys of a grey alcantera with black double stitching? My interior is all black, and my car is Silverstone... Or the reverse of that with black and silver stitching?

If it does not match your interior, you might want to considering a black material with a tan stitch. Thanks |

Yeah, I don't really like the tan, sorry, not for my car/color scheme. But I'm sure it would look AWESOME on a red or GPW! Especially with the black n tan interior, that's what I really wanted in mine....

I think I need more red interior parts for it to really look good. I have a red S and a full black interior. Any of you style color matching people have a sugestion?

That is true, more red would look better. I think black alcantera, or the black Perforated leather would look good with red stitching

Thanks SXY If I wanted the red boot I should paint some trim red. But a red on red car would be a little to much.

You guys make me feel guilty.......'n crack me up at the same time.
I haven't even shook out he floor mats since last oct. , and you guys are actually making your interiors nicer. I'm on the replace as necessary program....commonly known as the Jagg Automotive Component Longevity Test. This car has potential to be #1 in all catagories........Current champion is a domestic car, but not nearly as fun to flog thru the twisties. Time will tell soon enough. Regards, jagg |

Jagg some parts of your program I adapt. But I have Puma shoes (no tread on the shoes see a trend?) so it dont pick up much dirt. But ya just because we buy parts doesnt mean we always clean the car. lol

I'd like a black leather with red stitching. I can send you pics so you can post in this thread. |

You could either do a black boot with red thread, or a red boot with black thread. As you'll see in the photo, the car is red, so he went with a red boot to match the outside color. Adds some flavor to the interior. ![]() Or you could do the opposite: ![]() I can also do a racing stripe on the boot, or even double up the thread to make it stand out. You let me know what you would like, and I'll do it for you. Thanks |
