Trade 2007 GTI for you S200 in NorCal

i have a 2007 2 door dsg gti with only 5k on it. i want to trade for an s2k, preferably pre2004. any takers?

How about an '01 spa yellow? Runs great and brand new rear tires and a rear glass window. It only has 109k miles.

Rev, my good man, if you're really going to pursue an S2K, you really need to do some research so you can make an educated selection. While yellow is a lovely color for canaries and smiley faces, it is not necessarily the ultimate choice for a Stewie of optimum performance.

seemed like a nice trade just to have a 2007 car. but after getting back from sea, and driving my s around, nah.... I love stewie too much. the 2007 GTI is a sweet ride tho.

BUT, if it's that good, and only has 5k on the clock, why would you be poking around trying to trade it for a well used 4-6 year old s2000?

I've driven a dozen 2003 and up GTIs, and compared to the s2k,....
well, let's not compare......let's just say they're apples and oranges.
There is no way for me to compare the two, without me sounding like I'm coming down on your ride, and that would never be my intention.

yeah true, i'm mainly getting rid of it cuz of dsg though, i wanna get a manual now. it's a good car, i just want something a little faster

Here you on that meng best bet is to get a private buyer meng, if you trade it in youll have a$$ loads of neg equity and that hurts. best bet prob auto trader or craigs list (free). As for faster MUCH MUCH faster. My buddie has a 05 gti and it has a upgraded turbo and cai and i still smooooooooke him and all i have is cai. The gearing on the new gti juss seems to short. VTEC is def a quick cure to short gears!

yeah it is, the car's at 3000 rpm in 6th at 70. i got it posted on craigslist, only one person showed interest so far and they turned away cuz it aint leather. there's no way i'm gonna take a big loss and turn it in, cuz i like the car, id just prefer something else. i'm also looking at evo 8's.

Yeah evos are SwEEt but make sure you have lots of turbo experience, bc evos are not very forgiving...... good luck bro keep us posted.

Also evos have a track record with breaking down, so watch for that. I would go for the stewie but thats just me.
