2001 Honda S2000 Atlanta, GA 63K miles $13K RED

PRICE DROP TO $13,000 obo. I NEED TO SELL THE CAR ASAP. ALL REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED

The car sits almost completely stock. The T1R exhaust pictured below is also no longer on the car, the stock AP1 exhaust is on. THANKS

Ok so I am debating on selling the S right now. I am doing too much driving each week and the S is slowly killing me. I do between 600-750 miles a week and 1. the s2000 does get 30mpg, but then again a civic gets 35-40 so that extra 10mpg will add up after a few weeks, 2. driving in down town atlanta with all the pot holes in the S sucks. SO here I am..

2001 Honda S2000
63,xxx miles
Price $13,000 obo

Mods:
Stock AP1 wheels powder coated black with NEW (less than 500 miles) Falken FK452 tires 215 front 225 rears
Competition Clutch Stage 2 clutch assembly (less than 20K miles)
11lb flywheel (less than 20K miles)
AP2 CD Player
Pioneer speakers
Battery relocated to trunk

Bads:
-Clutch rattle (looking at getting a AP2 transmission soon to swap in. tranny will have less than 20K miles on it should fix everything and actually give better 0-60 times and better MPG's on the highway)
-Rear end pops when going into reverse SOMETIMES (also looking at the rear diff from an AP2 with the same miles on it)
-Top has 2 minor tears in it at the same spot on both side, both are about 3/4 of an inch long and are where the top touches the body of the car, does not leak as far as I know
-other little things here and there, but nothing else major

The car is in great shape. The normal dings here and there from being at school, the grocery store, shopping centers etc, etc. The oil has been maintained regularly along with the tranny fluid and diff fluid. I have been changing the oil with Mobile 1 full synthetic every 3,000 miles, the tranny fluid with Amsoil synchromesh fluid every 9,000 miles and the diff with Mobile 1 fluid every 9,000 miles.

The interior is in great condition. It has the normal driver seat wear, no tears or anything, but you can definitely see a little wear in it. Everything else in in good condition. No sun fade, no cracks, tears, rips, etc...

The front of the car has the normal paint chips from highway miles. ANY and ALL S2000 owners will tell you the same, the S2000 LOVES rocks on the highway. I have still yet to see a single "street driven" S2000 not have any chips in it. The front lip has a lot of chips in it. I was going to get it painted but then I figured I would leave it up the the next owner. Its not horrible, but then again its not perfect.

The only other real flaw on the car that I can think of is the dent on the trunk. It was there when I bought the car, it looks like something fell onto the trunk and dented it in two spots. Both spots are about the size of half dollars. Nothing horrible but something worth noting. Also the rear bumper on the passenger side has a few little scratches from when I backed up and a bush ran behind me...lol. It like 2 minor scratches, may even buff out, you never know.

About the transmission. It is in good working order. It has been "buzzing" ever since I have owned it (decelerating when in gear from 4k down to 2k rpms). SO about 20K miles now... I do have a little hard time shifting into 1st some times, I generally have to shift into 2nd to line up the synchros then 1st but its something I have gotten use to. Also when shifting into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th there is NO grinding, but there is a slight notch. You feel it, but it does not affect anything. Still goes in fine and all, you just slightly feel it. This is why I am looking to swap the tranny out. The price will definitely change once/if I do swap it out along with the differential.

The rear end you can hear pop when you go into reverse but only sometimes. It has been doing it for the past 20K miles so its nothing I have been worried about, but If I find a deal on a AP2 rear end I will replace it as well, but once again the price of the car will go up a little.

I know I forgot to say something about the car, but hell im only human every forgets something sometime.

Feel free to ask anything. I am located in snellville, ga. Willing to meet up for anyone to look at the car. Also I am willing to take parts off the car in order to get it into a cheaper price range. I have almost all my stock parts.

THANKS

Here is how the car sits as of now:
