Tanabe Medallion Exhaust, will work with AP1/2. Can be loud of you have a TP, which I did. I will say not the most agressive, perfect looking exhaust, but if you track your car it sounds great and will be an AWESOME investment. $150 Shipped plus PP, cheapest you will find and awesome for a track car...! SOLD

Here are some clips for sound, note this is WITH a TP. In IMHO, it sounds better with out a TP unless you're tracking it... The vibration is not actually there, it's really just the camera...

Wow those are some pretty amazing deals. Ill admit even though I love my exhaust I was toying with the tanabe to switch it up every now and then cant believe no buyers yet.

That is my car, I don't have too many pictures of the exhaust, I have this one from straight behind.

I can take some of the exhaust off the car if you'd like. I had it for about a year and a half. The only problem I ever had with it was the resonator had a rattle, so I had I new one custom fabricated and completely replaced it.

sexy correct me if I am wrong were you the one that had the exhaust shortened by a hair so the canisters dont stick out as far anymore?

Yes Isu, when I had the new resonator installed, I asked the exhaust shop to shorten the exhaust a little. However, IMHO the exhaust still sticks out a little bit, and I think the problem is that the hangers need to be re-shaped a little and then it would tuck up under the bumber on an AP1. On an AP2, I think it would look just fine because of the differnence in bumpers.

Dingle - The rattle is only after time when you have a test pipe installed and it's not really bad, again, I would reccommend only using a TP on the track. I will clean up the exhaust and take detailed pics tonight. There are no big dents or anything like that, I know that cannisters are good, but there are small scrapes in places since my car was lowered.

Sorry I haven't been online much, I am very actively looking for a job and that feels all consuming for me...

Here all all the other pictures I have of the exhaust installed. I want to be as open and clear as possible so you like what you are getting. I really feel this is a good tracK exhaust, and I don't want you to be unhappy if you are just looking for good looks...

This is the day I had the exhaust taken off... It definitely needs to be cleaned...


The last picture is before I had the exhaust tucked under a little. I really feel with a little more tweaking the exhaust would look great. Just let me know what you think... Thanks man!

I'm not sure of your set up Dingle, but be careful, with a super free flowing exhaust, using the stock header and stock cat, you may have a lot of drone.

When I installed my Tanabe Concept G exhaust on my stock header and cat, I had drone at 3000-6000 RPM, especially at cruising speeds. Drone is a deep resonating sound that seems to permeate throughout the cabin. It's very hard to hear the radio or talk to anyone in the car. Your ears will ring when you get out of the car if the drone is bad enough. Once I installed my Berk Header and HFC, the drone vanished.

ah ha is there any specific cause for the drone? or is it just a lack of flow in the exhaust?

I can't give you a technical reason, but it would seem to be tied to that. I do know that a well match, complete header and exhaust system purrs at idle and growls at WOT on the S with little or no drone.

For the price SXY_S2K is asking, I would buy this exhaust. I paid $740 for my Tanabe Concept G. They are now selling for over $800.

When I installed my Header/High flow cat mine got deeper. I don't know what a cat alone would do. Maybe someone else can chime in with that answer.

There was a little bit of a drone at highway speeds (65+) but it wasn't nearly as bad as a lot of exhausts I have heard. I got used to it and didn't really notice it after a while.

Alright people, not trying to whine, but Boost and I are having a heck of a hard time... Exhaust is sold, I also am trying to sell our Cell Phones. Blackberry Storms, I JUST put the new software update on them and worked out all the kinks (it took 3 hours per phone)... Anyone interested?... Everything else is still available besides the exhaust. Also two other VZW Cell phones a Palm Treo 750 and an HTC XV6800. Seriously, if you need something we might have it. Our TV, Our Computer... We both got laid off and have been killing ourselves trying to find jobs, bout to loose our house... Any questions or offers on anything just ask. We are good honest people... Both our cars for sale too...... Need something we might have it... Just sold our Vacuum cleaner on Craigslist, so you can't complain about cat hair tho, lol...............

I'm willing to part if it's worth it... HT would come with all catches, Defroster wiring and everything. It's MINTY. No dents, been waxed a week ago.... Wheels WT's, Make an offer if it makes sense...

***Edited to state Hard Top has Double Limo Tint on the glass, pretty much legal in my state, but if your state is stricter keep that in mind...

SXY if your expecting me to rent a truck from a car rental company, travel from Los Angeles ALL the way to Tempe, Arizona, and then ALL the way back to LA, then you sir, are crazy. About as crazy as voting (i'd say). But for a hardtop I just might consider it if certain conditions are met. Double limo tint is probably illegal in my state, as I think double black limo tint SHOULD BE illegal, because that's so black it's probably a black hole. My car allready sucks in underage girls, I don't want to be hasseled by the cops because these underage girls went missing. So if I got your hardtop I'd probably have to remove the tint. Probably.

I don't have much money, so would you take a newborn baby as payment. It'll be fresh. With a newborn baby in hand, you'll attract women like crazy. With your car + newborn baby= women fighting over you. Thats priceless.

No but seriously. I live in Los Angeles area. You can ship it via truck to my zip code (it IS shippable, it's just a hassel). But we have to discuss price. How much would you want to let it go for? Smoke free, scratch free correct? Mind if you post some pics of the inside?

Well, Um, I'm not quite sure what to make of that post...

For starters I'm female, and I DAMN sure don't want a baby LOL.

After discussing this with Joshua and some local S2Kers, Everyone says I will be able to get more for my car sold as a whole then trying to part it out... Although I really need money, I'm not going to be stupid and sell something for a lot less than it's worth, which it kind of seems to me to be what you're asking. Sorry.
